After devastating floods and landslides this month, the people of Brazil are suffering with grief and confusion, and they have lost a great deal of infrastructure. 800 people have been confirmed as dead, and 400 people are currently missing. The landslides occurred about 40 miles north of Rio de Janeiro.It has been difficult to bring aid to some because roads and bridges have been damaged, and the terrain of the region is very steep. This region also provides a lot of agriculture to the city of Rio de Janeiro, so the city is affected as well.
Let's continue to pray for the people of Brazil - for aid, for comfort, for relief, for support. And let's make this prayer as well:
