Slow us down, O God.In our busy world, even in this season of Lent,
we often neglect to take time for you.
Forgive us.
We often forget to take care of others: the homeless, those who are hurting, those who are different from us.
Forgive us.
We often neglect ourselves, our need to study your word, to pray, to meditate on your desires for us, even when those desires seem counter-intuitive to our minds.
Pour out your healing balm on our sin-sick souls.
Make us to be instruments of your love to this community of faith and to this world around us.
Amen.
