There are a couple of volunteer opportunities coming up.
We are still looking for volunteers to help out with the Rose Parade on either December 29,December 31 or January 1. We especially need help with kitchen setup on the Dec. 31 and clean up on Jan. 1. In exchange, you get a free ticket to watch the parade from our grandstands, free breakfast, and a cool looking red baseball cap.
The second volunteer opportunity is Saturday, January 15 when we will be hosting an e-waste collection event in the Madison Avenue parking lot. There will be two three shifts: 7:00-10:00, 10:00-1:00, and 1:00-4:00. Voluteers will help with directing traffic and sign-in; no heavy lifting will be involved. I also need help with publicity leading up to the event.
Please let me know right away if you would like to volunteer for the Rose Parade since New Year's is next week. I'll probably do another event announcement after New Year's.
