Supporting Fair Trade: Thank You, Pasadena Presbyterian Church!

In December, Pasadena Presbyterian Church partnered with Ten Thousand Villages to do a fundraiser through benefit shopping. Ten Thousand Villages is a Fair Trade store located at 567 S. Lake Avenue in Pasadena, offering a selection of beautiful and creative hand-crafted items made my artisans around the world. Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit store which has been working for sixty years to provide fair, sustainable income to artisans for their hand-crafted work of home decor, personal accessories, and gifts.

We are grateful to partner with such an important place.

During the month of December, Ten Thousand Villages partnered with Pasadena Presbyterian Church for a fundraiser. When items were purchased in the name of our church, we received 15% of the price to fund our ministries.

More importantly, we were able to promote fair trade practices and support the mission of Ten Thousand Villages.

We collectively purchased $1600 in fair trade items at the store. Thank you, members and friends, for your generosity and support of fair trade practices!
