Maundy Thursday: A Transformative Experience

Having loved his own who were in the world, Jesus loved them to the very end. - John 13:1

One week from today, members and friends expect to have a transformative experience on Maundy Thursday.

What is Maundy Thursday?

It's a special day in the church calendar year that falls on the Thursday of Holy Week, the week leading up to Easter Sunday. On this day, we gather to consider Jesus' last meal with his disciples before his death.

Jesus loved his disciples to the end of his life, to his very last breath.
Jesus loved his disciples to the end of his life, to the goal and the purpose of who he was.

We will celebrate this great love on Maundy Thursday in the Fellowship Hall of Pasadena Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 5 at 6pm.

We'll have a meal together as the disciples of Jesus. And we'll also experience a moving practice called Photolanguage, exploring evocative pictures which lead to transformative conversation in small groups of people.

We hope you'll join us for a meal, worship, and a transformative experience.

The meal begins at 6pm. Worship begins at 7pm.
