What a Great Month So Far!

Many fantastic events are happening with L.I.F.T. these days! We've had a wonderful month so far with opportunities for friendship, community building, laughter, study, prayer, and service. We are grateful that PPC provides us the space to be a community together, and we're so thankful for that our entire congregation has formed such a rich family of faith for us.

On January 8th, we celebrated Adrian Estabrook's birthday with a party! Adrian invited us to her place, and we shared many laughs as we played games. Here's our birthday girl!

Last Sunday, we had another exciting episode of the Second Sunday Sermon Sandwich Group! We met at Beanie's for discussion.

Every second Sunday of the month, we get together to discuss the sermon we heard in worship. Our time together is always filled with meaningful conversation. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Last Wednesday, L.I.F.T. began a new Bible Study with great insights from all who were present. Our topic is this: "Discovering Faith in Times of Anxiety." How can our faith perspective ground us in our own anxieties and insecurities? And how are we called to be faithful disciples in a world ridden with fear?

We're meeting on 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights from 7-9pm. And we're gathering together in our refurbished Young Adults' Room (PH 201). Many, many thanks to Jessica Weinhold who helped make our room possible!

And! We had a very successful E-Waste Fundraiser today. We collected old electronic items so that they can be disposed of responsibly. We worked with Cal Micro Recycling. They received our items, and in the process, they donated money to assist us in financing our refurbished Young Adult Room. Many thanks to Karen Lee who put this together. We were able to. . .

Assist others in getting rid of old items. . .
Give people a way to dispose of e-waste responsibly. . .
Help Cal Micro Recycling. . .
Support local businesses (who usually have to pay to dispose of e-waste). . .
And raise money for our ministry!

That's wonderful!

Here are some pictures from our event!
