Remembering the 30th Anniversary of HIV/AIDS

This Sunday marks the 30th year that the world has known about HIV and AIDS, and during these three decades, scientists and physicians have been working to treat the illness. As this history is recounted this weekend, we pray for all who have been affected by HIV/AIDS, and we remember that this history is peopled: Beyond scientific information, we remember that individual lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS, that the stories are deeply personal. We honor all of these lives and all of these stories.
