Spotlight on Service: Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters!

At Pasadena Presbyterian Church, we aim to be a "sacred space for the city," and for that reason, we desire to learn about opportunities for service in Pasadena and support and celebrate what non-profits, ministries, and charities are doing right in our midst.

And so. . . this week we honor Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters!

Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization here in Pasadena that is dedicated to providing one-on-one mentoring to children and teenagers. They seek to provide a lasting positive impact on youth throughout Los Angeles County.

Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs mentors with young boys and girls who can benefit from a lasting relationship, and they accept mentors and youth of all beliefs and backgrounds.

Would you be interesting in serving as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters? Mentors give a minimum commitment of a year and meet with their youth twice a month for 2-3 hour visits each time they meet. Catholic Big Brothers and Big Sisters is in need of new mentors. Might that be you? If you'd like to learn more about the process, you can go to this website.

You can also donate to the organization.

Let's continue to support and celebrate the great work that is done in our city!
